Each of our support workers undergoes an enhanced DBS check before joining Disability Matters, which means peace of mind for our families and young people.
As part of our commitment to independence and learning for life, our focus on delivering tailored sessions and participation in fun and engaging activities is further complimented by a programme of life skills in accordance with the wishes of the young person and their family.
Each member of the Disability Matters Family works alongside our service users in a sensitive and respectful way. Our support workers build strong sustainable relationships with each of our families and the special people they work alongside. Communication and listening to the people who need them the most is key to the care they provide ensuring the support is always there and appropriate to the needs of the person.
At Disability Matters, timekeeping and ensuring smooth running of each and every session for our families is high priority. Our support workers understand deeply the importance of being on time for each session and committed to each of the families and young people they are attached to and working alongside. This means you will always have a support worker by your side.
